Japanese edition, conteining two bonus tracks, 12 page booklet with lyrics, photos and a second booklet conteining lyrics in Japanese. I discovered Manic Street Preachers with this album, who conteined very well tracks as "Ocean Spray" "So Why So Sad" or "Found That Soul", and raryties as "Baby Elian" or "My Gernica", hardly politician/5(4). Jul 23,  · Released on: Know Your Enemy (Album #6) Epic Records, 19 March Track: 14 As one of the most explicitly political songs of the middle-period Manics discography and the song most connected and associated with the band’s controversial performance in Havana, ‘Baby Elián’ has come in for a lot of criticism over the years. The left-wing political convictions of the Manic Street Preachers are apparent in many of the album's songs, such as "Baby Elián" as they comment on the strained relations between the United States and Cuba as seen in the Elián González affair, a hot topic around the album's kerviseliversgor.nesmederthornhalbeckdocnorisrefendi.infoinfo: Alternative rock, hard rock, punk rock, glam rock.

The final three songs on the album are some of it's highest points: first, 'Baby Elian', which discusses the Cuban Missile Crisis, and criticises Americanisation (again). Again, it sounds beautiful and sincere, Bradder's voice echoing at several points in the song/5(36).

Feb 22,  · When I first saw that The Manics had written a song about Elian Gonzalez I thought it was a bit pretentious to be honest. But then I actually heard the song and that shut me up. Hope you enjoy.
